ATTENTION

A Message To Our Patients,
At Beer Dermatology, we recognize that the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a top priority across the county and with our patients. In response, we want to assure you that the health and safety of our patients, healthcare providers and staff are our top priority. We are closely monitoring the situation and like many others, are following the advice of the Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDC) and the Florida Department of Health Services (DHS) to determine any adjustments that we may need to be taking regarding how we serve our patients.

At this time, our offices are open regular business hours.

Rest assured; we are taking extra infection control precautions above and beyond our normal meticulous manner. As an added measure, all exam rooms, and high-touch surfaces are being disinfected continuously. We have also reiterated the importance of effective hand hygiene with all our health care providers and staff. Further, we have instructed our staff to stay home if they are experiencing any illness.

PATIENTS WITH UPCOMING APPOINTMENTS
Our office staff may be calling you to reschedule any upcoming appointments to allow adequate spacing between patients. Please call with any questions 561-655-9055.

Are You Located in West Palm Beach Area and Considering Skin Care Clinical Trials?

Clinical trials are an effective way of testing new technologies, modalities, and medications to help with various conditions that can impact the human body. Dr. Kenneth Beer is a dermatologist in the area of West Palm Beach, FL, who is excited to be at the forefront of medical advances and proudly offers a range of clinical trials and studies for patients to participate in. From cosmetic dermatology to skin care solutions, these trials allow new options for patients to be tested for effectiveness and safety while compensating patients for their time and energy.

How does a clinical trial work?

Several different stages occur in the process of approving new treatments in the field of medicine and dermatology. Each stage needs meticulous studies to ensure these treatments are appropriate and effective. To do this, volunteer participants are required. Patients who are good candidates for certain therapies will be notified if a clinical trial opens up for their needs. Clinical trials are a great option for patients who have been unable to find a solution that works for their skin care concerns and want to try new treatments. At the same time, monetary compensation is also encouraging for those looking to bring in some extra funds.

Why participate in clinical trials?

  • The ability to try new treatments for skin concerns
  • Monetary compensation, including reimbursement for travel expenses
  • Be a part of evolving science and technology in the medical field

Beer Dermatology
Rating : 5 5 Stars
I have been a patient of Dr.. Beer for several years. I’ve had Mohs surgery, as well as minor spot removals and biopsies. Two weeks ago, we saw him for an emergency skin condition that my husband had. We were given an appointment immediately, seen . a biopsy taken and sent to the University of Pa. for study. Dr. Beer called us himself with the results, as well as calling our primary care physician to discuss my husband’s case. The follow-up care was excellent. We fully recommend Dr. Beer. “
