WHAT IS ECZEMA?

Eczema, or atopic dermatitis, is a skin condition characterized by uncomfortable patches of dry, itchy skin that can become aggravated by scratching. The condition could be chronic (present for a long period of time) or acute (appearing suddenly with intense symptoms that worsen and spread). Eczema could also fall into one of the following categories:
