Our busy dermatology office is actively seeking a reliable, detail-oriented and energetic Medical Assistant to perform various clinical and office duties. Our Medical Assistant will work directly with our medical providers performing routine skin examinations, biopsies, excisions, cosmetic laser treatments, and cosmetic fillers. Our highest priority is patient care and customer service!
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare examination rooms prior to patient appointments
- Document physical examination notes
- Prepare the patient for biopsies, excisions, MOHS surgery, cosmetic and laser procedures
- Bandage patients following procedures
- Explain all procedures to patients including biopsies, excisions, cosmetic treatment plans
- Proficient in electronic medical records
- Must be a team player
- Able to multi-task
- Able to provide excellent Customer service for high profile patients
Medical Assistant Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2+ years of experience working for a Dermatology practice (preferred but willing to train the right person)
- High level of professionalism
- Strong customer service skills
