WHAT IS RESTYLANE KYSSE AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

Restylane Kysse is a dermal filler that is injected into the lip area to increase the lips’ natural volume and minimize the appearance of fine lines above the mouth. Restylane Kysse is the first lip filler that is manufactured with XpresHAn Technology™. This technology is designed to create a gel that integrates into the skin. The treatment has been used in Europe for several years and was approved by the US FDA in April 2020.

WHO IS A GOOD CANDIDATE?

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Expect to have some minor discomfort during the procedure. However, the vast majority of people tolerate the procedure very well. We can use topical or injected anesthesia to help make the procedure more comfortable. The procedure takes anywhere from 5-10 minutes and is usually well tolerated. Following the procedure, it is common to have some swelling. Some people will have some brusing although this is less common.
