ATTENTION

A Message To Our Patients,
At Beer Dermatology, we recognize that the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a top priority across the county and with our patients. In response, we want to assure you that the health and safety of our patients, healthcare providers and staff are our top priority. We are closely monitoring the situation and like many others, are following the advice of the Centers for Disease and Prevention (CDC) and the Florida Department of Health Services (DHS) to determine any adjustments that we may need to be taking regarding how we serve our patients.

At this time, our offices are open regular business hours.

Rest assured; we are taking extra infection control precautions above and beyond our normal meticulous manner. As an added measure, all exam rooms, and high-touch surfaces are being disinfected continuously. We have also reiterated the importance of effective hand hygiene with all our health care providers and staff. Further, we have instructed our staff to stay home if they are experiencing any illness.

Acne Treatments

Acne Treatments at Beer Dermatology in West Palm Beach, FL and Jupiter , FL Acne is an extremely common, and distressing, condition affecting people of all ages, races and genders. Fortunately, there are many options available to treat the specific cause of your acne. Some of these include:
  • Laser and light therapy treatments for active acne as well as scarring
  • Topical washes, creams and medications
  • Oral medications, including antibiotics, anti-androgenic medications and, if deemed necessary, Accutane
  • Peels used to resurface your skin and increase the efficacy of your Beer Dermatology regimen
  • Injections, which can either shrink large, deep cysts or be used to encourage collagen production
In teenagers, acne can present as dozens of tiny bumps, blackheads or whiteheads on the skin of the face, especially the forehead, along with occasional cysts on the chest and back. But acne doesn’t just affect teenagers – many people experience adult acne into their 30s, 40s and even 50s. Adult acne is more likely to appear on the lower part of the face, especially around the mouth and jawline. Although the smaller bumps of teen acne can still occur in adulthood, it more commonly manifests deeper nodules or red papules.
