Juvéderm Vollure dermal filler smooths wrinkles in West Palm Beach, FL

How Juvéderm Vollure facial filler works
Juvéderm Vollure is a dermal filler that uses hyaluronic acid as its primary ingredient to temporarily reverse the signs of aging. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar that is naturally found within your body; when it is injected into the skin in a gel format, it minimizes wrinkles and increases volume that is naturally lost as we age. The result is a more youthful-looking and rejuvenated appearance without looking “overdone.” The results are immediate, so you leave your appointment with an instant, naturally refreshed look. How long does Juvéderm Vollure filler last?
Juvéderm Vollure is among the longest-lasting dermal filler available. It uses a specialized delivery system called Vycross® Technology that incorporates a high concentration of cross-linked hyaluronic acid, which provides natural-looking, smoothing results that last up to 18 months. Over time, your body naturally absorbs the material and re-injections to maintain your terrific results are recommended.Facial areas that it can treat
Juvéderm Vollure is optimally designed to fill in moderate to severe wrinkles in the following areas around the mouth and nose:- Nasolabial folds – the lines between your nose and mouth that appear when you smile but tend to linger even when we are not smiling as we get older (often called parentheses lines, smile lines, or laugh lines)
- Marionette lines – the lines that can form between your lips and chin
- Corner lines – lines around the corners of your mouth
What to expect
We strategically plan out the best locations for your injections based on the unique contours of your face, to achieve subtle but noticeable results. Juvéderm Vollure is formulated with a small dose of lidocaine, an anesthetic, to help keep you comfortable during the injection process. After performing the first injection, we will wait a few moments for the lidocaine to take effect and then will proceed with the rest of your injections. Afterwards, we gently massage the area to help give a smooth and natural-looking appearance. After your treatment, the most common side effects are redness, swelling, bruising and discomfort. Using ice packs can help reduce any swelling or pain you experience afterwards. If you are taking medications that thin your blood or increase bleeding, such as ibuprofen or aspirin, you may be more likely to experience bruising or bleeding; we will discuss this with you before treatment and advise you on whether to stop taking these medications in advance.
