Good news for those with a small chin (hypognathism)

Chin contour plays an important role in the overall aesthetic appeal of the face.

Those with a small chin, also known as recessed chin or hypognathism, often report a low self-esteem and lack of confidence due to their appearance.

Symptoms include a short, small chin which makes the face appear flat. If the lower jaw is excessively small, the lips may also protrude.

Treatment options can include chin implants and other surgical options.

However, Dr. Kenneth Beer, is currently testing a dermal filler that may help improve the look of the chin.

If you have a recessed chin and are interested, call the Research Institute of the Southeast at (561) 600-4848 .

Beer Dermatology
Rating : 5 5 Stars
I have been a patient of Dr.. Beer for several years. I’ve had Mohs surgery, as well as minor spot removals and biopsies. Two weeks ago, we saw him for an emergency skin condition that my husband had. We were given an appointment immediately, seen . a biopsy taken and sent to the University of Pa. for study. Dr. Beer called us himself with the results, as well as calling our primary care physician to discuss my husband’s case. The follow-up care was excellent. We fully recommend Dr. Beer. “
